Our Mission
At Louisville Adventist Academy, our mission is to help students Know Jesus, Love Jesus, Share Jesus, and Serve Jesus. We partner with families to nurture the whole child — academically, spiritually, socially, and physically — through a Christ‑centered education grounded in a biblical worldview.
We believe that true education develops character, strengthens faith, and prepares students for a life of service to God and others.
Our Core Values
Christ‑Centered Learning
Jesus is at the heart of everything we do. From daily worship to classroom instruction, we help students understand God’s love, discover His purpose for their lives, and grow in their personal relationship with Him.
Whole‑Person Education
LAA follows the Seventh‑day Adventist philosophy of education, which focuses on developing the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. Students learn to think critically, act responsibly, and live with integrity.
Academic Excellence
We provide a strong academic foundation through small class sizes, individualized attention, and caring, certified teachers. Our goal is to help every student reach their full potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Character & Leadership
We intentionally teach and model Christian character. Students learn:
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Compassion
- Integrity
- Service
- Leadership
These values shape how students treat others and how they live out their faith.
Service to Others
Service is central to our mission. Students participate in age‑appropriate service activities that teach them to care for others, meet real needs, and make a positive impact in their community.
A Safe, Loving Community
LAA is a place where students feel safe, supported, and valued. Our small, family‑like environment helps students build strong relationships, develop confidence, and grow in a community that reflects Christ’s love.
Part of a Global Education System
As part of the worldwide Seventh‑day Adventist school system — the largest Protestant education system in the world — LAA is committed to high standards, spiritual growth, and whole‑child development.
