Louisville Adventist Academy is dedicated to providing an exceptional Christian education as an alternative to public and expensive private schools. Our small, multi-grade setting allows students to thrive and participate in a wide range of opportunities, ensuring that each student receives the attention and support they need to succeed.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Louisville Adventist Academy is to help students develop spiritually, mentally, socially, and physically through the guidance of qualified teachers, a Christ-centered curriculum, and biblical values. The Louisville Adventist Academy family exists to demonstrate Jesus to children, nurture their love for Him and others, teach them critical thinking, and empower them to serve.
OUR PURPOSE
Louisville Adventist Academy aims to offer a robust academic curriculum, enabling students to excel academically, while also fostering a Christian environment for the personal growth of young Christian students. LAA provides the opportunity for young individuals to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Louisville Adventist Academy is run by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and aims to provide a spiritually focused education for children. Belief in the existence of the Creator God is foundational in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. The academy respects His divine authority and acknowledges His involvement in human affairs. True education, according to the academy’s philosophy, should develop the spiritual, mental, and physical abilities of each student, preparing them for a life of service and the life to come. To achieve this goal, students are encouraged to:
- Develop a personal relationship with God and with their fellow men as stated in Matthew 2:37-39.
- Master the basic academic skills.
- Value labor, both physical and mental, as the blessing God intended.
